OnePlus OxygenOS 10.0.1 for the OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7 starts rolling out

OxygenOS Open Beta 3 update for OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro now available



The OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro have started receiving the OxygenOS 10.0.1 based on Android 10.

The update brings with it a brand new UI design.

OnePlus 7(₹ 29999 at amazon) and 7 Pro users, rejoice. The smartphones have started receiving the OxygenOS 10.0.1 based on Android. If you haven’t received the update, then worry not. OnePlus has said that it is a staged rollout. The OTA, which went live on Saturday, October 12 was received by a handful of devices. A broader rollout is expected in the coming days. We at Digit haven’t received the update on our OnePlus 7 or 7 Pro yet. According to OnePlus, “using VPN to download this build might not work as the rollout is not based on regions and is randomly pushed out to a limited number of devices”.

The new Oxygen OS 10.0.1 brings with it a number of features and improvements to the OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro. elow is a list of all the features coming to the smartphones. 


  • Upgraded to Android 10
  • Brand new UI design
  • Enhanced location permissions for privacy
  • New customization feature in Settings allowing you to choose icon shapes to be displayed in the Quick Settings
  • General bug fixes and improvements

Full-Screen Gestures

  • Added inward swipes from the left or right edge of the screen to go back
  • Added a bottom navigation bar to allow switching left or right for recent apps

Game Space

  • New Game Space feature now joins all your favourite games in one place for easier access and better gaming experience

Smart display

  • Intelligent info based on specific times, locations and events for Ambient Display (Settings – Display – Ambient Display – Smart Display)


  • Now possible to block spam by keywords for Message (Messages – Spam – Settings -Blocking settings)


If you are rocking an older OnePlus device then know that the OnePlus 5, 5T, 6 and 6T will also receive Oxygen OS 10 running on Android 10. OnePlus announced this at the OnePlus 7T Pro launch event in London. You can read more about the announcement here.
