OnePlus just launched its latest OnePlus 7T handset in the country and soon after, the OnePlus 7 series of handsets are receiving a discount. OnePlus 7 and the OnePlus 7T smartphones will be receiving a price cut during the upcoming Amazon Great Indian Festival Sale. While the smartphone maker rarely discounts its smartphones, the base variant of the OnePlus 7 with 6GB RAM will be available for Rs 29,999 down from Rs 32,999 during the sale while the OnePlus 7 Pro will be discounted by Rs 4,000 to be up for sale starting at Rs 44,999.

The OnePlus 7 recieves a price cut of Rs 3,000 while Rs 4,000 is being knocked off from the OnePlus 7 Pro. While the discount is being offered during Amazon’s festive sales, one can’t help but wonder whether this is being done to boost the sales of these handsets, since the newly launched OnePlus 7T is priced starting at Rs 37,999. Whatever may be the case, end consumers are reaping the benefits from such deals and discounts.

Both, OnePlus 7 and the 7 Pro run on the Snapdragon 855 SoC but the OnePlus 7 Pro gets a triple camera setup and a pop-up front camera. OnePlus 7 sports a dual rear camera and a dewdrop notch display design. The newly launched OnePlus 7T is powered by the Snapdragon 855+ SoC and sports a dewdrop notch display, but it sports three cameras on the back, which are housed within a circular module.

Alongside the OnePlus 7T, the company has announced the new OnePlus TV 55 Q1 series. There are two TVs in the new lineup and both feature a 4K QLED panel. There’s the OnePlus TV 55 Q1 Pro and the standard Q1, and the major difference between the two is that the former comes with an attached sliding soundbar while the standard Q1 doesn’t.
